Mosaic 1 2 0

broken image

If you have a MATLAB license, we recommend that you install the Mosaic MATLAB Package because of the API and because it starts up more quickly than the Mosaic Standalone. Since Mosaic version 1.1, you must also have a Mosaic license. You can request a Mosaic license from the Inscopix website, which should also provide further instructions.

  1. 1 Mod 2
  2. Mosaic 1 2 0 2
  3. Mosaic 1
This is an amazing mosaic building game for kids (age 3+) which would help them to improve their creativity. It contains 18 nice, pre-made pictures to 'paint' with hundreds (!) of different mosaic tiles, like in a coloring book. Ability to create colorful, individual mosaic images. Learn about the colors and using the mouse - while playing! Key features: You can choose from dozens of mosaic tiles, which are organized in themed palettes, like bricks, glasses, marbles, etc. With the left mouse button you can place a mosaic tile on the board. With dragging the mouse multiple tiles can be placed. Use the right mouse button to remove them! There are also special buttons to clear the board, or fill it with the selected mosaic tile, if you would like an uniform background surface. You can save your unfinished work to continue later. If you load a saved mosaic, the picture builds itselves on your screen as a short animations clip (look at the built-in example to see how it works!). You can also save your mosaic pictures as 'bmp' images for printing them later. Original looking, easy to use, kids friendly interface to satisfy the children's demands. This is a great, creative screen toy for little ones!
  1. NCSA Mosaic for Unix (X Window System) version 2.0 was released on November 10, 1993. Version 1.0 for Microsoft Windows was released on November 11, 1993. 16 17 From 1994 to 1997, the National Science Foundation supported the further development of Mosaic.
  2. Another bittersweet farewell, the last weather balloon at the MOSAiC floe site on July 31, after the final break-up of the MOSAiC floe. Happy scientists on the ice even at 1:00 in the morning! This was the midpoint of a 24 hr sampling cycle and I think summarizes the energy brought by the Leg 4 team very well.

This section describes how to install Mosaic on your computer. First checkthat your computer meets the recommended System Requirements.

Then, you should go to the Inscopix website and download the latest versionof Mosaic. You can choose from two types of installations.

1 Mod 2

  1. The Mosaic MATLAB Package requires a MATLAB license, but allows youto run Mosaic natively in MATLAB and also allows you to use Mosaic's APIto automate workflows with scripts.
  2. The Mosaic Standalone does not require a MATLAB license, but restrictsyou to graphical interaction only.

If you have a MATLAB license, we recommend that you install theMosaic MATLAB Package because of the API and because it starts up morequickly than the Mosaic Standalone.

Since Mosaic version 1.1, you must also have a Mosaic license. You canrequest a Mosaic license from the Inscopix website, which should alsoprovide further instructions.

If you cannot access the installer or license request form on the Inscopixwebsite, please contact support@inscopix.com and request permission to download Mosaic.

System Requirements¶

Mosaic 1 2 0 2

The high-definition (HD) data acquired by the nVista system can require asignificant amount of storage space. In order to store these, Mosaic uses acombination of random access memory (RAM) and permanent storage space, suchas a hard disk drive. Temporary files that exceed RAM are stored temporarilyon the permanent storage. It is important to have enough storage space tostore the all of the temporary files. As a guideline, acquiring 30 minutesof data at the frame rate of 20 Hz at full image resolution would requireapproximately 110GB of space.

Therefore, in order to run Mosaic efficiently, you should have access to asystem that has access to a large amount of fast RAM and a permanent storagedevice with fast read/write access and plenty of space. Below, we give somerecommended minimum specifications for a system that would run Mosaicefficiently.

  • Processor: Intel Core i5/i7 or better
  • RAM: 32GB
  • Hard Drive: 1TB with an SSD cache

Mosaic currently supports 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Professional andWindows 10 Pro.

If you are planning to install the Mosaic MATLAB Package, you must alsohave MATLAB installed. For Windows 7 Professional, we support MATLAB versions from R2013a to 2015b.For Windows 10 Pro, we support MATLAB versions from R2015a to R2015b due tothe support describedhere .

Mosaic MATLAB Package¶

Running the Mosaic MATLAB package requires a valid MATLAB license as wellas the toolboxes listed in the table below:

Required ToolboxesRecommended ToolboxesOptional Toolboxes
Image ProcessingSignal ProcessingParallel Computing
Statistics and Machine Learning

Mosaic 1

  • The Required Toolboxes are necessary to be able to open and run basicApps in Mosaic.
  • The Recommended Toolboxes are needed for less common Apps, includingEstimate Trace Spikes, Mean Filter Image.
  • The Optional Toolboxes for parallel computing are only needed if theuser wants to distribute the computation over multiple processes which ispossible for some Apps including Apply Motion Correction,Bin Movie (Space / Time) and Reduce Movie (Space / Time).

After you have installed both MATLAB and Mosaic, open MATLAB and add theMosaic src directory to your MATLAB path to use the package. For example,if you used the default install directory, the src directory isC:ProgramFilesInscopixMosaic-MATLABsrc.

In order to verify that you correctly installed Mosaic, open MATLAB and run:

which should open the Mosaic graphical user interface.

To start a Mosaic script session, run:

and then run:

to bring up help for the MATLAB API in your native web browser.

Mosaic Standalone¶

First, remove any existing Mosaic Standalone installations. Note that you donot need to remove any existing Mosaic MATLAB package installations.

Next, run the Mosaic installer and follow the steps in the installationapplication.

Verify that you successfully installed Mosaic by running the application. You should see a splash screen, eventually followed by the Mosaic GUI.

Note Iclip clipboard recorder & clipart manager 5 2 4.

The Mosaic Standalone requires an active installation of Matlab CompilerRuntime (MCR), version 2013a. There is no fee for the MCR and it shouldnot affect any existing installations of MATLAB or other versions of theMCR. If the correct version of the MCR is not detected duringinstallation of Mosaic, there will be a prompt to download it. In thiscase, the Mosaic Standalone installer will need to be relaunchedfollowing the MCR installation.

Note

After you have finished the installer, you will be prompted to restartyour computer. If you choose not to restart your computer before runningMosaic, your preferences may not be retained from one session to another.

Note

Even if you restart your computer, your preferences may not be savedafter the first run of Mosaic after it has been installed. This isbecause the MCR may be using a smaller cache size than specified by theMCR_CACHE_SIZE environment variable. Preferences should always be savedafter the second run of Mosaic. If they are not, please contactsupport@inscopix.com .

Note

The Mosaic Standalone can take quite a long time to start up, especiallywhen it is run for the first time. Please be patient and wait for theMosaic GUI to appear, which may be quite some time after the splashscreen disappears.
